Hi, I’m Natalie, the founder of Trail Magic Web Design. For over three decades, I honed my skills in the real estate industry, mastering the art of truly listening to clients and understanding their unique needs. I also gained invaluable experience in marketing—crafting messages that resonate and drive results. Now, I’m channeling all of that expertise into helping businesses and organisations like yours create beautiful, effective websites that get noticed.

When I’m not designing websites or helping businesses grow, you’ll usually find me exploring the great outdoors. Hiking is my happy place, and the spirit of adventure fuels everything I do. Just like a great hike, a successful website is about preparation, the right tools, and a little magic along the way.

How It Started …

Web design has been a passion of mine for more than 20 years. It started with building websites for my hobbies such as cooking, travel, and blogging, as well as lending my skills to not-for-profit organisations. What began as a creative outlet turned into something much bigger. I realised I loved the process so much that I pursued formal training in digital marketing and website design, earning qualifications that helped turn my passion into a profession. Not only do I build websites for businesses and organisations, but I also personally invest in website assets through buying content websites to renovate and sell.

What Is Trail Magic?

Trail Magic Web Design gets its name from a term beloved by hikers. “Trail Magic” describes those unexpected, wonderful moments on a hike—a stranger offering you water, a perfect campsite appearing just when you need it, or a breathtaking view that lifts your spirits. It’s about making the journey easier and more enjoyable. That’s the ethos I bring to my work. I aim to make building your website a stress-free experience. I’ll guide you through the process step by step, speaking in plain language and ensuring that the final product truly reflects your vision and needs.

I’m a big believer in the power of listening—really listening—to understand what my clients need so I can tailor solutions that work for them.


When I’m Not In Front Of A Computer…

When I’m not building websites, I love getting involved with my local community. Here in Greenock in the Barossa Valley region, I am Secretary of our local Greenock Village Community Association. We bring the local community together to work on projects that benefit the town and help make it a vibrant place to live and work. In the wider Barossa Region, I am a board member for Regional Development Australia – Barossa, Gawler, Light and Adelaide Plains. This is a strategically important organisation that fosters economic growth in the region by collaborating with all levels of government as well as local businesses, industries and communities. I am also the President of Port Adelaide Rostrum which provides a supportive environment for people to learn public speaking skills and build confidence.

Another role in the community I am proud of is my long association fostering participation in AFL Football for women and girls in the region through my role as the inaugural President of the Barossa, Light and Gawler Women’s Football League (BLGW), establishing and coaching the first female football teams at Tanunda Football Club, and previously serving on the Board of the Central District Football Club as the Female Football Director.

As I mentioned at the start, I also love hiking and being out in nature. I have been lucky enough to do some wonderful multi-day hiking trails including a good portion of the local Heysen Trail as well as The Overland Track in Tasmania, The Great Ocean Walk in Victoria, and parts of the Bibbulman Track in WA. Trail Magic really does exist! I look forward to spreading some of my own Trail Magic in helping businesses grow, get more leads, more customers and more profit through Trail Magic Web Design.
